How the online lessons work
- Online lessons will be offered for groups of at least 5 students at a time.
- The lessons will be for free and will be presented through Google Meet.
- There are two types of online lessons.
- The first type is lessons that I add based on what students tell me they need help with. Please tell me through the questionnaire . [It will guide me in deciding what material besides online lessons to add to the website.] To see what lessons of this type are available go to scheduled lessons and make a note of a lesson’s reference code if necessary. The code will be needed for points 4 and 5 below.
- The second type is lessons specifically requested by students. A student can suggest a topic for a lesson and assign a reference code to it. The student can then communicate that code to fellow students or classmates. The code will be needed for points 4 and 5 below.
- The form Request for online lesson can be used for both types of lessons mentioned above. That is, either to register for a lesson that I have offered, or to suggest and/or register for a new lesson.
- Questions for use in lessons can be uploaded by clicking here. You will need to specify the reference code of the lesson. This can be done for both types of lessons mentioned above. Because this involves uploading files to Google, you will need to login with a Google account.
- Once I have prepared the lesson, I will indicate on Scheduled lessons when it will be presented and what the link to it is. Unfortunately, the scheduling will have to be at a time that I choose as it will be impractical to accommodate requests for specific dates and times.
- If you are able to attend the lesson at the time mentioned, please indicate so by clicking on here. If less than 5 students have done so by 6pm on the day before the lesson, the lesson will be cancelled.
- When the lesson is about to start, use the link provided in Scheduled lessons .
