How to make a simple version of a surveyor’s tool using a protractor.   It can be used in the real world to measure the angle of elevation of the tops of buildings, mountains, trees, etc.   The tool enables trigonometry to be taught as a real-world practical topic instead of a theoretical classroom based topic.
